About Mariposa

Each cutout within the butterfly’s form offers a glimpse into the rhythmic heartbeat —a Japan quartz movement that mirrors the seamless motion. Roman numeral markers and crystal-studded indices lend a refined balance between tradition and modern artistry.

Tufina has been an independent family owned watch company since 1828. Theorema Germany hand-sketches and hand-assembles all their watches.

The Roman numeral markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock blend classical refinement with modernity, while additional crystal accents punctuate the dial, adding a touch of celestial brilliance. The hands, in leaf shape, sweep gracefully over the butterfly’s wings, a vivid contrast that enhances both beauty and readability.
