WARRANTY

Your watch is manufactured warranted by Theorema or Pionier (not Tufina) for 2(two) years under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The warranty covers faulty mechanical workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the warranty. In case of defects covered by the warranty, all components (excluding outer parts, steel case, glass, strap, and buckle) will be repaired. If watch is badly used and badly treated than the customer is responsible for all repair costs. A free replacement will be granted only and only if the mechanical issue is a manufacturing error. In the case of a replacement, Tufina cannot guarantee that you will receive the same watch model. If your model is not available a watch of equal value and similar style will be provided. A copy of the receipt and/or your original warranty card is required as proof of purchase. There is no fee for the repair services. The fee is subject to change. You pay for shipment to Tufina, and Tufina pays for shipment to you after repair.

- Case of the watch, strap, glass, battery, or buckle

- Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear

- Severe water damages

- This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence or persons other than authorized Tufina sales or service agents, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.

- The following warranties and remedies are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, terms or conditions, express, implied or statutory, as to any matter whatsoever, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, satisfactory quality, title, and non-infringement, all of which are expressly disclaimed by Tufina. Tufina shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages or liabilities of any kind arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of this product, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or any other theory, even if Tufina has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any limited remedy specified herein is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose. However some countries, states, or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or the limitation of incidental consequential damages so the above limitations and exclusions may be limited in their application to you. When implied warranties may not be excluded in their entirety, they will be limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that may vary depending on local law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

- If you have your watch serviced by any service provider other than a Theorema or Pionier authorized service center, such replacement will void your warranty. Tufina has the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, if any such third party services voids your warranty.

Each Theorema or Pionier timepiece is designed and manufactured to the highest of standards. Unlike most other mechanical objects, a watch operates non-stop. In order to ensure optimal performance and longevity from your Theorema or Pionier timepiece, please review the simple guidelines for care and precautions.

- Do not swim or shower with your watch regardless of the 5 ATM indication. These are gentleman timepieces not sport watches.

- Clean your watch with a soft cloth and a bit damp, not wet. Do not submerge your watch under water.

- Do not rinse watch under tap water.

- Metal bracelets should be cleaned periodically. Clean with a soft brush dipped in mild soapy water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

- Leather bands live longer if left to breathe and dried after long wet uses, especially in hot temperatures.

- Avoid extreme weathers and magnetic environments.

- We advise having your timepiece serviced every 24 months to ensure long use and trouble-free operation.

Your timepiece is a complex integration of parts and components brought together by skilled craftsmen. There are certain actions or environmental situations that may damage or impede your timepiece's ability to perform optimally.

It is important to avoid the following conditions: extreme heat or cold, as well as prolonged periods of exposure to direct sunlight, exposure to wet conditions that exceed your timepiece’s water rating. (See case-back and chart).

Your timepiece should not be affected by magnetic fields generated by household items such as televisions and stereos, but avoidance of other strong electric fields or static electricity, which may interrupt mechanism, is suggested. It is also important to avoid extreme shock or impact.

In connection with the sale of batteries or accumulators or with the supply of appliances that contain batteries or accumulators, we are obliged to make you aware of the following, in accordance with the Battery Act:

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. As the end consumer you are legally required to hand in used batteries. After use you can return batteries to the store of purchase or a collection point nearby (e.g. at community recycling stations) without charge.

Batteries and accumulators that are required to be marked as such will have one of the following symbols: a wheelie bin with a cross through it or the chemical symbol for classification as harmful heavy metal. Both symbols mean the same.

RETURNS

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused (brand new) and in the same condition that you received it within 14 days of delivery date. It must also be in the original packaging.

REFUNDS

Our refund policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since the delivery date, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

RETURNS

  • Please be sure to save your postal receipt. Ship only with your country's Postal Service.
  • You will be responsible for shipping costs.
  • We highly recommend you insure your parcel and adequately protect it during shipment, and it's original packing. Tufina is not responsible for products lost or damaged during shipment.

Please send the watch unused/unworn back to Tufina with a completed Return Form, original box, and the original warranty card.

CAREFUL: In order to receive a refund or exchange on items returned, the watch has to be returned (i) if you notified us within 14 days from the delivery date; (ii) with completed return form; (iii) in the original packaging; (iv) in new/unused condition. We do not accept watches with any worn signs.

  • If you are unable to comply fully with the return policy, unfortunately, you may not be entitled to a full refund or replacement.
  • Price adjustments on previous purchases are not permitted.

Some returns will be subject to restocking fees such as: 

  • Initial FedEx cost if the watch is returned not because there is a fault on Tufina's side. 
  • If the watch returned has been worn, dirt on the band, enlarged holes on the band, scratches on the clasp, plastic wrap has been removed, the band has been shortened etc.

A step-by-step instruction is given to the customer on how to proceed with their warranty service for repair along with a form to fill. Contact our customer service at info@tufinawatches.com for the form and detailed information such as where to ship and how. Make sure to state your full name or order number. Within 24 hours you have have a full reply from us and how to proceed.

Once you have spoken to our customer care, you will need to fill out the repair form. Print and put it inside your package. Carefully pack the package, becauseTufina is not responsible of any damages or lost packages. The customer is the responsible party for the shipment of the watch to us for the warranty service; therefore, make sure to save the receipt of your postal service, and best insure it.

DELIVERY

Delivery: A tracking number is provided within 24 hours from payment, except no weekends.

To NORTH AMERICA and EU WITHIN 2-4 BUSINESS DAYS.

REST OF THE WORLD WITHIN 4-7 BUSINESS DAYS.

  1. Delivery Notifications.

You will receive an email at the email address you have specified when your order has been dispatched - this email contains the tracking number so you can track it online right to your door. 

  1. Delivery timescales.

After payment is received we take 24 hours to inspect, pack, and label the watch (excluding weekends or Holidays). Delivery via FedEx Express depending on the USA state is within the next 2-4 days (excluding Sundays and Holidays).

Tufina Watches does not open on public holidays. Orders received on these days will be dispatched the next working day.

 

  1. Postage method

To the majority of the countries UPS Express is used, unless specified otherwise, in this case Deutsche Post or USPS is used. 

  1. Missed deliveries

If you are not in to receive the delivery at the time the delivery is attempted, the delivery company will leave you a card to notify you of the missed delivery attempt. This will allow you to either telephone them to arrange a redelivery at a more convenient time or collect it from your local sorting office. This is your responsibility. Due to security reasons, all items sent by our 'Express' delivery method require a signature.

If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified, item not called for), then Tufina Watches will inform you immediately by email as soon as Tufina Watches receive the item. From this point forth, you will be given a choice whether you wish us to re-dispatch the item at your cost of shipping or for you to cancel the order for a refund minus shipping cost.

 

  1. Late deliveries or dispatch

Although Tufina Watches is able to ship almost every order in the specified delivery timescale, in rare circumstances our shipping capacity can be exceeded and cause a delay of one extra day. Tufina Watches, regret that this situation can occur occasionally, and is an unfortunate situation which is naturally associated with buying online, however this only occurs in rare situations and, should this occur, your order is marked for urgent delivery the following day.

The other circumstance that may cause a delay is when the delivery service itself has a problem. This, again, is a rare situation but is unfortunately beyond our control. In these situations, Tufina Watches will do our very best to assist and help with the situation and ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.

 

      5.1 Consequential loss for late deliveries

Tufina Watches do not provide financial compensation to cover consequential losses, e.g. Time taken off work to receive deliveries, or the item is intended as a gift, and you purchase the same item from a more expensive retailer.

 

      6.Delivery to business addresses

Tufina Watches allows delivery to alternate delivery addresses including business addresses and places of work. If you do specify a business address for delivery, please ensure that there will be someone available during normal working hours e.g. at reception who can sign for delivery on your behalf.
