At 6 o’clock, the dial opens completely to reveal the co-axial tourbillon cage. This aperture is framed by a ring engraved “CO-AXIAL TOURBILLON,” serving as both technical declaration and visual frame.

The oversized Arabic numerals (11, 12, 1, 3, 5, 9) are thick, applied elements in a brushed blue tone. Their mass provides visual stability within the open-worked environment. The “12” is particularly prominent, anchoring the dial vertically and reinforcing the tonneau orientation of the case.

The exhibition caseback offers the clearest view of the movement’s mechanical logic. The two mainspring barrels are positioned symmetrically, flanking the gear train and transmitting energy forward to the escapement.

About St. Moritz Tourbillon

At 6 o’clock, the co-axial tourbillon dominates the visual field. The cage rotates continuously, carrying the balance and escapement in a gravity-neutralizing orbit. The cage architecture is multi-armed and polished, with thermally blued screws securing its structure.

Tufina has been an independent family owned watch company since 1828. Theorema Germany hand-sketches and hand-assembles all their watches.

Brushed wheels, polished screw heads, and cut-away structural bridges designed for structural clarity rather than ornamental excess. The caseback sapphire reveals the gear train in full, including not one but two barrels and transmission wheels, arranged in layered depth.
