A virtuoso watch for a virtuoso man!

A virtuoso watch for a virtuoso man!

I have spent about a week wearing the full automatic - full calendar - Chicago Diamonds Pionier watch. One of the hottest releases from Pionier Germany back two years ago, but with a brand new production of 2019. This watch comes in 12 different variations, and it is meant to celebrate the Windy City, aka Chicago.

Let's start with the basics. This watch has a 44mm without crown diameter in a stainless steel case or gold plated 5-micron case. It does come with either an original leather band or a stainless steel 316L bracelet. It is extremely attractive. The dial is what really sets this watch apart.  It is a two-tone sector dial, the inner one is engraved with a unique pattern, and the outer track is where the real diamonds 0.05 karat are placed. All the sub-dials classically seat on the face in gold color. The hands inside the sub-dials are very elegant. The top sub-dial shows in such glamour the sun & moon phase, the other two show the day and date. What is unique about the sub-dials is that all have different tone patterns design inside of them. Down below at 6 a 'clock is the brand name. The real star of the watch is the open heart design by the bridge of the watch. The splendor of being able to marvel the speeding movement of this masterpiece. Another attraction to this timepiece is the golden Roman numerals. They really add a touch of authenticity to this watch. The aesthetics of the Chicago Diamonds Pionier watch are completed by the amazing Breguet hands, named after Abraham Louis Breguet who invented them. Last but not least is the case itself which matches in design with the pushbuttons. The scalable engravement is very remarkable and something you almost never see in watches.

This watch is meant to attract new people to the German brand. You can see that they were trying to produce something special, and they did achieve it. After wearing it for a week it has left a huge impression on me. It grew on me and have fallen in love with it.
